This scroll of the book of Esther, with its colorful artwork throughout complementing the story told in the side-by-side English and Hebrew texts, is a splendid reproduction of a Megillat Esther rendered by Moshe Ben Avraham in 1617 in Ferrara, Italy and comes in a case fit for a queen, having a wooden base and turned wood top which serves as one of the atzei chaim (wooden shafts on which the scroll is rolled) and wrapped in a leather-like material with gold English and Hebrew lettering and enhancements like the affixed medallion of the king extending his scepter to Esther.
